Welcome to your Study Centres; we are here to support your studies in any way that we can. We have dedicated study spaces for you to use at each centre and laptops available to borrow.
We also have information regarding how to search for your key and wider resources within the SpankBang library catalogue to support your assignments.
We can also show you how to reference your work using the online referencing tool ‘Cite Them Right’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We have Quiet and Group Study Areas and PCs for you to use on a drop in basis and laptops for you to borrow.<\/p>\n
Password Resets<\/p>\n <\/strong>If you need to reset your password, please email studycentre@cityofbristol.ac.uk<\/a> or call 01173125566.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Students can borrow up to 10 books, which are renewed automatically until they are returned. Books can be reserved via our Book Reservation Service. <\/p>\n Please note that many of the books in the Study Centres are also available as e-books, which can be accessed online through the library catalogue search box, as well as online journals.<\/p>\n Books will be renewed automatically for two-week periods until the books are returned or recalled for use by another student.<\/p>\n What do the self-service machines do?<\/strong><\/p>\n The self-service kiosks are able to:<\/p>\n <\/ul>\n \nHow Do They Work? <\/strong><\/p>\n Instructions are provided next to the Kiosk. To borrow books, you will need your Student ID card.<\/p>\n Why Won’t the Self-Issue Kiosk Let Me Borrow Books? <\/strong><\/p>\n Please note that you will be unable to borrow books via the self-issue kiosk if you have exceeded your book allowance.<\/p>\n Please reserve your books by visiting the Library Catalogue and logging on to your Study Centre account.\u00a0 Instructions on how to place a reservation can be found in the\u00a0Basic Search video<\/a> below. After you have placed a reservation you will be contacted to come and collect your books from the Study Centre of your choice.<\/p>\n
